About the project
gerekli.tr is an independent academic planning tool built for Hacettepe University students. It helps you build, track, and visualize your semester — it is not an official university service.
It is free, open source, and non-profit. You can use it without an account; optional Cloud Sync is available when you sign in.

gerekli.tr is a helper for planning and visualization only. It does not replace official records.
- This site is not an official Hacettepe University service.
- For registration, transcripts, scholarships, and other formal steps, always rely on official university announcements and systems such as BİLSİS.
- Catalog data, calendar dates, conflict checks, and calculations may contain errors — always verify before you act.
- gerekli.tr cannot be held responsible for outcomes caused by incorrect planning or data mistakes.
Data and privacy
How your data is stored depends on how you use the app:
- Without an account, or with sync off, planning data stays on your device in the browser (localStorage).
- When you sign in and enable Cloud Sync, selected planning data (schedules, locked semester/attendance, and GPA rows) is synchronized to your account over an encrypted connection.
